Weekly Thought

The church reaches out with the good news of God’s grace. The good news is for the whole race. There is forgiveness for sins and freedom from guilt. There is enabling power to live a holy life through the death and resurrection of Christ. God’s good news is that we don’t have to follow the destructive acts and attitudes of the world. With Jesus we have a new attitude.

The church has always been reaching out to those who are in desperate need. When the church is the church it can’t help but reach out. The gospel the church preaches and teaches is a reaching out gospel.

My church is a missional church in sending and supporting special called-of-God people who take the good news from their comfort zone to a people of a different culture and style. The gospel transcends all ethnic, racial, and cultural barriers. All humans are in need of what missionaries have proclaim.
